The general objective of the project is to develop new types of hybrid nanocomposite membranes with different structures and improved functional properties for water purification. These objectives will be achieved based on the research experience of the project leader and enhanced through the managerial and scientific skills of the proposed research team. The specific objectives to achieve the main goal are:

O1. Preparation of new hybrid doped TiO2/polymer nanostructured materials by electrospinning technique.

O2. Inclusion of graphene in new composite materials developed with the aim of increasing strength and photocatalytic activity.

O3. Design of experiments, data-driven modeling and optimization of the photodegradation process using new developed materials

O4. Project management and dissemination of the results.
